A non-profit website for people with diabetes and their families. Built on Wix Studio so the federation team can keep running the site themselves, the way they are used to.

A website that answers when the phone is silent
The Latvian Diabetes Federation brings together regional diabetes societies, publishes the „Saule” magazine and is a member of the International Diabetes Federation. Its phone line is open for three hours on Wednesdays, so the rest of the week the website has to answer the questions. Visitors range from someone diagnosed yesterday to a society volunteer in a small town and a journalist. The team was used to publishing news on Wix, so the new site had to stay in that environment.
The answer on the first screen, the archive a few clicks away
The free information line 8000 1234 is visible on the first screen of the homepage. More than 190 articles are sorted into six topics, „Saule” issues open as PDF, and on the members page every society has its address, phone and email as text, not as an image. Every section has its own SEO title, and the structured data describes the federation as an IDF member, so both Google and AI assistants understand it.
