This time we share how the new websites came together for SIA Pro Ceva, a company that has been looking after modern dairy farm automation in Latvia for more than 15 years.
Recommended by a partner, won over by the solution
Our long-standing partner WPX.lv recommended dizainsweb.lv to the SIA Pro Ceva team as a reliable web design and development company. Pro Ceva is a name with authority in agriculture: a company with more than 100 Lely robots installed on Latvian farms and a distinctive way of working with each client.
From the very first conversations it was clear that this would not be a standard website, because the client is not a standard company either. SIA Pro Ceva’s mission is to build sustainable, innovation-driven agriculture where animal welfare and the growth of its clients come first.
Exploring and refining the design: from idea to solution
After the first meeting with Pro Ceva we developed our vision for the website structure. Initially we proposed a version with a visually rich homepage and multi-level information layout (see the image below). We found this concept very appealing ourselves, but the client stressed that they wanted the information to be as concentrated and easy to take in as possible, with no unnecessary scrolling for the user.
And that is where the real collaboration began!
Once we had the clarifications, we adapted the design to the client’s vision. We created a second, much more compact and clearer version. This time we hit the bullseye! The client confirmed: this is what they had been looking for.
Two websites, one solution
One of the most interesting challenges was creating two websites at once: proceva.lv for the Latvian audience and proceva.com for the international market. We built both on the Wix Studio platform, which lets the client manage content easily, make changes and grow along with the business.
