In recent years Wix Studio has become a very popular choice among business owners and start-ups. The main benefit: fast development and a friendly interface that lets you make changes quickly, even without any programming knowledge.
How much does a Wix Studio website cost?
- Development starts from 500 EUR. This is the base amount for a professional design and a custom structure. Of course, in some cases the price can be even lower if you only need a single page, but with one page it is hard to reach good organic positions in Google search, though that is a story for another time.
- On top of that, there is a monthly or annual subscription fee that depends on the chosen plan (usually from 120 EUR to 300 EUR per year).
- The final cost depends on the number of sections and the complexity of the design: if you need several sections (e.g. a blog, portfolio, gallery, services) or non-standard design elements, the cost can go up.
- Pro: convenient content management and quick publishing.
- Con: limited options for unique features and integrations, plus dependence on the Wix platform, as the website cannot be moved elsewhere. That said, in our experience we have not yet had such a request.

WordPress is the world’s most popular content management system, suitable for both simple and very complex websites. We recommend building WordPress sites from scratch, tailoring the design and functionality to the client’s exact needs (without ready-made templates, to keep a unique identity), although we do not rule out templates completely.

- The design is created separately, for example in Figma, and only then does programming begin.
- Additional costs: annual server hosting (on average from 180 EUR to 350 EUR, depending on the size of the site and expected traffic).
- Pro: unlimited design and functionality options, freedom in SEO optimisation, easy expansion in the future.
- Con: maintaining the site requires more technical knowledge, development takes comparatively longer, and there are extra costs for upkeep and maintenance work.
Building an online store: a big step forward
If you plan to sell products or services online, you will need a modern online store. Costs are higher in this segment, as both design and functionality requirements grow.
A Wix Studio online store
- Development starts from 1800 EUR + the subscription fee.
- Quick set-up and convenient product management, but limited customisation options for more complex e-commerce features.
